AI Safety Institute (AISI)

The Institute is the first state-backed organisation focused on advanced AI safety for the public interest.  Its mission is to minimise surprise to the UK and humanity from rapid and unexpected advances in AI.

It will work towards this by developing the sociotechnical infrastructure needed to understand the risks of advanced AI and enable its governance.

Government Legal Department (GLD)

The Government Legal Department is the largest in-house legal organisation in the United Kingdom's Government Legal Service. The Department is headed by the Treasury Solicitor.

This office goes back several centuries. The office was enshrined in law by the Treasury Solicitor Act 1876, which established the Treasury Solicitor as a corporation sole (an office with perpetual succession).

Employees of the department exercise legal powers which are vested in the corporation sole.

The department is a non-ministerial government department and executive agency. The Treasury Solicitor reports to the Attorney General for England and Wales. The department employs more than 1,900 solicitors and barristers to provide advice and legal representation on a huge range of issues to many government departments.

United Kingdom Health Security Agency (UKHSA)

The UK Health Security Agency employes more than 11,000 staff as of early 2022 and is a government agency in the United Kingdom, responsible for public health protection and infectious disease capability, and replaced Public Health England. It is an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care

Public Health England (PHE)

Public Health England was an executive agency of the Department of Health and Social Care in the United Kingdom. Operating under the directive of the Secretary for health and social care with a mandate to protect the nations health.

Ordamo

Ordamo was a small start-up that is offering contactless ordering and payments for the hospitality sector, giving businesses the ability to accept contactless orders from customers from their own personal device, all without the need to install any app or physically touch paper menus.


Elavon Merchant Services is a subsidiary of US Bank

Elavon has over  1.1 million customers' and processes in excess of $400 billion of card transactions globally per annum.

Elavon solutions are designed to meet the unique needs of the customer's industry.  Elavon is consistently rated among the top five global payment providers in the world.


Channel Assist is a sales and marketing agency

The agency won 2 Gold awards at the Field Marketing Brand X awards in 2014 The first one was for being new agency of the year and the second was the Debbie Wilkes New Business Award for its work with Panasonic


Channel Advantage was a U.K. wide multi award-winning field marketing agency

As one of the leading field marketing agencies in the U.K., Channel Advantage was able to harness the latest advancements in data and analytics technology, ensuring that the right people were in the right store at the right time and with the right brand message.

Clients included Microsoft, Panasonic and SONOS to name but a few.

Ceased trading in 2019.
